Great news from Wine Access’s 2012 Canadian Wine Awards, held earlier this year in beautiful Penticton, British Columbia. Rosewood has set a new personal best, winning 16 medals at the competition with 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 12 Bronze awarded. These medals helped rank Rosewood 14th overall at the competition - a new personal best! Everyone at Rosewood is honoured the recent accolades, as it showcases our commitment to producing premium handcrafted wines. The warm 2010 vintage shaped a powerful Cabernet Franc, taking home a Gold. Silver medals were awarded to the 2010 Merlot Reserve, 2011 Gewürztraminer and 2007 Grande Reserve Ambrosia. The rest of the winners won Bronze medals. Since opening our doors a few short years ago, we've made a buzz about producing premium wines and meads of great value, consistently being named in the annual Top 25 Canadian Winery list. Continuing this tradition, we haven’t strayed from the founding principles of doing as much by hand as possible and listening to both the vineyard and grapes. By focusing and respecting the vineyards, we strive to be responsible stewards of our land.
