Fresh walnuts are combined with Rosewood’s 100% unpasteurized Wildflower Honey to create a rich, textured, naturally sweet preserve. The walnuts bring crunch and depth, while the honey adds floral sweetness and a beautiful glossy finish.

Enjoy it by the spoonful, serve it over cheese, or use it to finish salads, yogurt, ice cream, or desserts. It is especially good with brie, blue cheese, chèvre, baked cheese, or anything that loves a little honey and crunch.

For best results, store in a cool, dark, dry place such as a pantry or kitchen cabinet. Do not refrigerate, as refrigeration may speed up crystallization of the unpasteurized honey.

Our honey will crystallize naturally over time. To re-liquify, place the jar in a pot of water on low heat and wait until it returns to a liquid state. Do not microwave the jar. If you are in a hurry, remove a small amount of the crystallized honey and warm in a low power setting in a microwave safe container.

Much like wine, honey will vary in aroma, taste and colour from year-to-year reflecting characteristics of both the season and region.
