Rosewood Partners with GROW Community Food Literacy Centre

At Rosewood, we believe that sharing food and wine around a table is one of life's simplest and most meaningful pleasures.

Food has a remarkable ability to bring people together. It creates connection, strengthens communities, and helps build lasting relationships. As a family-owned winery, meadery, and apiary rooted in agriculture, these values guide much of what we do, from tending our vineyards and beehives to welcoming guests to our table.

Today, we are proud to announce a new partnership with GROW Community Food Literacy Centre, a Niagara-based registered charity working to address the long-term challenges of food insecurity across our region.

GROW supports more than 3,000 individuals throughout Niagara by increasing access to fresh, healthy foods, building food literacy skills, and fostering community connection. Through initiatives such as its low-cost market, GROW-on-the-GO Mobile Market, cooking classes, and educational workshops, the organization helps individuals and families access nutritious food with dignity, choice, and respect.

The partnership was championed by Rosewood Estate Chef Peter Pietruniak, whose passion for local agriculture, food education, and community building aligns closely with GROW's mission.

"As a chef, I've always believed that good food has the power to bring people together," says Pietruniak. "Some of my earliest memories are tied to sharing meals with family and friends. Food creates connection, teaches valuable life skills, and helps build stronger communities. Partnering with GROW felt like a natural extension of what we're trying to accomplish here at Rosewood every day."

Beginning this season, a portion of every Estate Lunch, Communal Lunch Experience, and Archive Cellar Experience will be donated directly to GROW. Every guest who joins us at the table will help support programs that improve food access and food literacy throughout Niagara.

For Rosewood, this partnership represents a natural extension of our commitment to agriculture, hospitality, and community. We are fortunate to work closely with local farmers, growers, producers, and guests every day. Supporting an organization that helps make healthy food more accessible throughout our region is a meaningful way to give back to the community that supports us.

The Estate Lunch experience was created to celebrate Niagara's agricultural bounty and the people behind it. Through this partnership, each meal served will also contribute to a broader effort to ensure that more members of our community have access to fresh food, practical cooking skills, and the confidence that comes from gathering around their own table.

We are grateful to GROW Community Food Literacy Centre for the important work they do and proud to stand alongside them in supporting a stronger, healthier Niagara.

Together, we can help ensure that good food remains accessible, empowering, and shared.
