Easter is around the corner and with it comes many traditions, both old and new.

One tradition that is deeply rooted in Ukrainian culture is Pysanky, an egg decoration with beeswax, coloured dyes, and geometric shapes. The name is derived from the Ukrainian verb “pysaty” meaning to write; pysanka is the singular expression and pysanky is plural.

Over the last year Ukraine has faced an unprecedented level of devastation. As we continue to pray and show our support, we invite you to join us in our second annual Pysanka Workshop.

Hosted over two weekends, we will guide you through the steps on how to create your own pysanky, right here at the winery.

Workshops will run from 10am-12:30pm on the following dates:

Saturday April 1, 2023
Sunday April 2, 2023
Saturday April 8, 2023
Sunday April 9, 2023

This year we are proud to partner with a local collective, SteppeUp for Ukraine, in conjunction with local farmers who donated the eggs. To learn more about this collective, check out their social media here

Tickets are $100.00 each and are available on our website. Seats are limited and all proceeds will be donated to Canada Ukraine Foundation.
